Mobile TraQ

Quetel Corporation...

Mobile TraQ turns a smart phone into a single device for documenting the scene of a crime or other incident.  An officer can, not only, take images and videos at the scene and record interviews, but s/he can dictate notes, evidence descriptions, and contact data for witnesses, victims, etc.  The easy upload to QueTel’s state-of-the-art back end software, TraQ Suite, means that the images and videos are immediately available for review, along with automatically transcribed interviews, notes, and evidence descriptions.

What distinguishes Mobile TraQ, from any other similar smart phone applications, is its back end.  Mobil TraQ makes it easy to collect evidence and dictate notes—no paper.  The separate components of the back end, TraQ Suite, provide the most advanced features available for digital evidence management and physical evidence management—in a 100% browser, multi-tiered architecture.  The significance of its design is the power it provides for configuring, customizing, and adding enhancements to Evidence TraQ and Digital TraQ.

The Digital TraQ component manages the life cycle of videos, audio recordings, and still images from authenticated upload, through processing and enhancement, to purging and or archiving.  Not only is the upload of digital files quick and simple, but so are the tools to search and generate reports.  It provides tools to transcribe interviews and correct transcription errors.  It transcribes officer notes into a form that can be edited as the text of the incident or case report.
